Hello, I’m Chelsie!

Welcome to my website, I’m so glad you’re here!

A little bit about me!

I'm a Texas gal and I say that because sometimes I may say "y'all" a little too much, don't worry, I'm working on it! I'm a full-time registered nurse, currently working at my local hospital. It’s one of my greatest joys to have the opportunity to help others. I feel that way not only when it comes to the work I do through nursing, but also through my photography!

It’s a goal of mine to capture your story through the pictures I take. I know first hand how difficult it can be when you find yourself trying to remember snippets of your life. It’s because of this that I feel as though pictures are incredibly important. They give us something more permanent to look back on, especially in moments where we may be missing some of our loved ones a little extra.

Family

Family is incredibly important to me, whether it's family by blood or by love, both mean the world. In fact, I've been in and out of the photography game a number of times now and what brought me back most recently was my brother being diagnosed with stage three esophageal cancer. You see, when I say pictures are important to me, this is what I mean. When my brother was diagnosed, I picked my camera back up. I did this because I wasn't sure what our future was going to hold. Whether he was going to be in it with us or not and I couldn't think about that without wanting to capture every moment possible.

I know all too well how life can be hard. It tends to kick us while we're down and spin us in so many circles that we're left feeling dizzy, but it's okay. Every day is a new day and new chance at starting fresh. Regardless of what life throws at us though, the memories and the moments will always be there for us to hold near and dear. That's what I mean when I say pictures are important to me, because even on my worst days, I still find myself looking back at the memories that I'm most fond of.

Pictured above is myself and my two dogs. They, along with all those that I love in life encourage me daily to chase my dreams and I couldn’t be more grateful! My circle is pretty small, but all those that I have met along the way have impacted me in some shape or form. It's because of the moments that I've captured over my life that I get to fondly remember each road I've ventured down and those who ventured it with me and for that, I'm oh so grateful.
